thanks for everybody's reply...i am now contacting EU embassies asking if they require my PR stamp endorsed in my passport...? so fat most of them says contact vfsglobal or whoever is dealing with there visa process now..


italian embassy replied....could be positive...awaiting more reply...

Thanks for the reply I have contacted the french consulate - they have replied to me saying - due to new international policies they will only accept residence permit endorsed in passport of a resident card. HO said they have no issues me placing it on my passport and going out and in - no issues. B...

HI Gents,

Quick advise please. I was thinking of applying for ILR as i have spent 10 years in the UK.

I was given 3 points and fine by court and its on counterpart driving license sp30 - 15/12/09

Can i apply for ILR with this ?

I have read the guidance but was unclear of this.

Whats the difference between applying before and after the PR stamp - documents wise ? do i not have to prove my residency ( bank statement, p60's etc ? ) if i apply after the PR date stamp ?

I had a understanding that its a general rule that if you have legally lived in england for 10 years you are eligible to apply for ILR..? that is teh genaral rule for anyone who has lived in uk for 10+ years..i have had this advise from HO though...
