When a decision is made stamping takes 1 day. I had applied for AR and was successful. When I submitted the passport for stamping in VFS, they ...

I completely agree with Ashish here. If money is the founding factor for someone then there are better ways to earn money in a growing economy like India rather than a struggling one in UK. However the quality of life in general which does include factors like commute between office and home, qualit...

Going by the recent updates, it seems applicants who can submit all the supporting documents and pay the fees by today, would only be allowed.

To those who want to apply call up VFS again and check!

Public sector jobs are different from private sector jobs.

Though it may have some impact, but overall I think it should be positive as people would spend less and you can expect prices for rental homes and other services to come down!

I guess you are incorrect here.

If less than 12 months in UK, then 1600 (for dependent) and 800 (for self).

The same answer is present on sticky as well.

Hi Everyone, This is a very informative forum. Going through the posts, I realized how many people out there apply on their own with help from here. This is really great. I am trying to decide the best way for myself though. Is there any place/ topic where I can find review and feedback on immigrat...

As pointed by mulderpf, no need to include oanda data in your application. As a caseworker he would anyways check his own source and adjudicate. In case you want add a 1 page coverletter. Now since you have so many bank statements (I used 3 bank statements), you might want to add small colour sticke...

It is used for eligibility only. Someone who scores 120 gets no priority above someone who scores 100. Isn't this changing in April, though? I thought I read where they will begin giving priority to the highest points earners each month. From April, Tier 1 G will die. You are probably talking about...

Don't you think that you are better off staying the in the queue as you applied in Nov. I assume that you should get the Visa either in Jan or Feb considering you would be amongst the 'forwards' in the long queue. Also since you haven't got the passport back, it implies that the Visa application has...

ECO calculated my points based upon net salary after tax. Tier 1 guidance document says that points for salaried employees will...

Both of you are correct. In your perspective should i explain this in AR or go for new application? You could very well include a letter in the AR explaining what a 'term deposit' means. Not including a line in the letter mentioning that 'money can be withdrawn anytime' proves that the BHC is hell ...

However since 2nd Dec the status on the VFS website is 'VAF Printing Completed on 01 Dec 2010'. Can anyone on...
