Re: Tax return of full-time employed needed for ILR?

As explained to you earlier, you don't need SA if you are full time employed even if you are earning 100K. I had the same confusion and I thought why HMRC was asking SAs all years. After my original post, when I called HMRC, I came to know being in category "foreign national on international a...

Re: limited company directory as referee

One of my friend used an IT contractor friend as a referee and it was no issue.

The referee had post-grad from UK and my friend who applied had no history of 'bad character by conviction, warning etc'..

Re: Tax return of full-time employed needed for ILR?

I am OP and need information please (All time full-time employed i.e. PAYE and no other income shown in UK). I filed my Self-assessment in March and cajoled HMRC 3 days back (10-weeks after I filed by post) to complete it asap. They agreed. Yesterday, HMRC called and confirmed its done (130ish pound...

Re: Child MN1 earliest possible after my ILR (PEO)?

Awesome. Thanks @UKBALoveStory. Your personal experience makes me fully assured. @CR001, yes UK born. Hope so for taxes as full-time all years. All taxes paid. Only small thing (non-issue) is - I was on deputation from MNC when I came to UK; anyone on deputation needs to file SA but KPMG missed it. ...

Child MN1 earliest possible after my ILR (PEO)?

I have let my infant child T1-dependent expire and didn't renew as I am due for ILR. I am going for same-day PEO service for my straight forward ILR (fingers crossed). I want to apply for my child MN1 section 1(3) via NCS at earliest possible after ILR. We have plan to travel few months down the lin...

Apr2016 Guidance - PBS qualifying Period confusion

Posting query as I had more than 180 late entry in UK from entry clearance date. My visa starts 1x-Dec-2010 and I landed 0x-Jul-2011 i.e. more than 180 days after issuance. Continuous period calculation treatment has changed as per Apr 2016 guidance. FAQs for ILR says Q4 - When does my ILR qualifyin...

ohk. Thank your sir CR001 :)

I went to gov.uk website, filled in personal details and all good, however trying to book appointment is issue. I could go to 'next 10 appointments' till 7th May 2016. How...

Tax return of full-time employed needed for ILR?

I am T1(G) and entered & started job in Jul-2011. I will apply for ILR in June-16. I have always been full-time employed in permanent job in UK. For 1st financial year FY11-12, I have not filed my self-assessment. I noticed this accidentially in online HMRC portal. I called HMRC and they confirm...

My plan from reading and confirming on this forum earlier was that I can register my UK born child under MN1 Section 3(1). However, MN1 guide on page 12 u...

Will it be fine to go with child's MN1 registration after I get ILR?

Re: Child Born in UK Overstayer

Thank you Vinny.

Since entry clearance can be a problem, is it possible to file child application for citizenship from outside UK?
If yes, can processing timeline be a long stretch? or its too much hassle and better to get in-country extension to be safe..
