Re: visa help, TFL prosecution

Extension is not an issue. ILR is issue in that case.

Sticky on Tier-1 mentions it

Re: Out of UK Tier 1(Gen) Dependent visa fees payment from U

I don't think there is need to pay by 'the person' as long as they get the money.
More so as 'dependent' by word may means that.

Never heard a case otherwise till yet.

Re: UK born baby VISA via Birth Certificate

Nope. You need passport.

Just FYI. It is about travelling to India (on indian passport or any home country on that country passport) for your baby, you don't need T1-dep visa right away.
You can apply from the home country as visa is required when flying back to UK.

Re: Tier 1 dependent child

At my spouse dep visa, I didn't submit any agreement letter showing the size of property.
I had simply submitted council tax photocopy and it was good.

People do submit rent agreement or more docs. So, up to you.

Cheers,
Manish

Re: Apply UK born child's visa from India

I remember the ukba / ukvi site was updated at some point to state that TB certificate was not required for children under the age of 11. Am sure there was a discussion and a reference made about this in a previous post in this board. However, I am unable to find such a reference in UKVI now. I thi...

Re: tier 1 dependent stay out of UK

For T1G main, it is 180days in 12month period so it is certainly not 90-days. I too had same misconception earlier. For T1G dep, there was no rule for 2-year rule but new 5-year rule, it is (1) certainly, should be on same dependent visa for 5-years. (2) dicey, it need not be continuous like main ap...

Re: Days out for dependent

It shall be fine. Continuous leave does not apply to dependent. For main applicant, it is 180-days in a continuous 12-month period. Read Q12 and related link for more information on this sticky. http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/faqs-for-ilr-wp-tier-2-hsmp-tier-1-read-befor...

Re: UK Born Baby

It is different than a dependent/Tier-1 route for a UK born baby. Once any of parent gets ILR, a UK born baby can apply for citizenship directly (no continuous residence rule applies either). Same situation like your. Wife on maternity and flying to India. Baby to get dependent visa from India befor...

Hi ilraspirant and psTier1,

can you share your experience with applications?

I am in same situation where my wife will be almost 155-days outside UK when we apply for her ILR with 5-year period rule.

Re: Tier 1 Dependent-Child born in UK

I am in same situation as CtrlF9.

I and Spouse have valid tier1(extn) till Dec-2015. I want to renew only my T1(G) before Apr-2015 cut off.
I will apply for spouse T1(Dep) before Dec-2015.

Is that ok? Any good ref or link is highly appreciated.

Spend a little time and search the forum before questions you are asking.
They are standard questions and have been answered in previous threads.

A little google won't harm you either.

Good luck.

Not sure where you got this source of information.

HSBC original statements (on their letterhead) works fine. I have got my extension done and my spouse's visa processed using HSBC original statements (from branch as well as via duplicate statement).

I didn't have any stamps on it.

Cheers,
Manish
