Very impressed with the speed of processing at HCI London. In total it took 29 days from submission in person and the processed OCI to reach back in London. I collected it in person 2 days later. 8)

I don't think you can apply for your family now. You can apply in Aug though. Or it'll have to be after you getting citizenship and they apply as wife of a British citizen.
I would double check it if I were you

Referees ?

Me and my wife are going to apply for naturalisation and there's no one in the list of referees she knows or who knows her in a 'proffessional capacity' but there are many in the list who knows her personally. How do they actually verify this. If we provide some one as a referee (say a Registered Nu...

Nationality Checking Service

I submitted my ILR Application on my own and there wasn't any problem. My confusion...

your partner must be prevented from working or claiming benefits in this country i would think this exemption is valid when a dependant (who is not working) reads it and not for someone employed. If you are working, you have to pay council tax. end of. If you are living on your own you can get 25% ...

I've read somewhere in this forum it costs around 20-30k. Some of my mates may have to follow the JR path for ILR and would be...
