Set(m) is for partner to apply for remaining in t...

Re: SET(M) Finacial prove concern- please help!

Hi, I was in a very similar situation 2 years ago. My ife was not working and I had become self employed with no payslips to prove steady income. It is understandable that your partner has filed his taxes yet. In my case, I simply sent 1) all the P60 documents of the past 2 years. 2) Bank statement...

hi don't forget to bring your life in the uk certificate.

aslo i thought you only need to prove everything up to the last 2 years, so you might not need to provide 2007-2008 documents. I have been told before by adviser that you only need to provide what you asked for.

good luck for tomorrow

I would submit all bank statements. The accounts in credit will balance the overdraft. The Immigration Advisory Service offer free advice. 6 I went to immigration advisory service today and apparently they said I am not qualified for the free service and ask for about 350 pound if i need their advi...

I'd suggest you give the average. My husband is self-employed and that's what we did when we applied successfully for his ILR. A deduction of 20% from the gross will give an estimated amount which will be all you need. Submit his business bank statements...which don't by the way have to show a subs...

Thank you very much for your replies.
However on the set(m) form, it asked to fill in how much money my partner earn after tax, as his income varies all the time, does it mean that I just get the average of last 6 months? how do I get the after tax amount when he not paying tax yet?
