Re: Evidence of absence from Ex-Employer

I agree with O_Relly that for absence less than 30 days the case worker need not ask for any evidence. However I understand this is at the discretion of the case worker based on all other things in the application being in the right order. However based on my own experience and couple of friends who...

Re: Tier 1 G to ILR Empl/Self-Employed Interview Questions

Dear All, This week I am applying for IRL based on 5 years on Tier 1 General (applying at PEO). I'm showing my earnings for the past 12 months based on employment and self-employment (sole trader) combined. I heard that if you've been employed and self-employed, you are likely to be called for an i...

Re: ILR Absence Letter - Does this need to be Latest ?

Hello, For ILR application, UKBA asks for letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK. Is this letter need to be latest i.e. the date of letter needs to be within one month of applying for the ILR? I was with an employer ...

Re: ILR Absence Letter - all leaves or only absences from UK

i got 2 letters from my two previous employers and I had them mention all the leave taken irrespective of the fact whether i was in the country or abroad. I had no issues with the letter getting ILR approved last week. In all honesty i don't think it will make a difference plus I am not sure how eas...

Re: Premium service weekend fee

Hi,

It should be the same whether you book a weekend appointment or a weekday one.

However a word of caution , with the new fee declared it would be quite difficult to find an appointment within next 10 days for a weekday leave aside a weekend atleast in Croydon.

Re: ILR Success at PSC - Limited Company Director

Hi Sharmao The questionnaire would be applicable for you as you are a limited company director. But, where the query is about your SA filing for past years, you don't have to choose any as you were under full time employment. There is an option to select Not registered as self-employed. Leave the r...

Re: Form SET(O) Queries - Urgent ILR appointment next week

12А - Finance, is for everyone, so you'll have to tick it. It doesn't say about maintenance funds, it only asks about means to maintain yourself, etc, which is salary in classic example! 12L - there is a list, one of the options is Tier General, which is you. So 9A is the only tick box. If you stay...

Re: ILR Success at PSC - Limited Company Director

Hi All, Does the questionnaire has options to select Not Applicable for various questions. In my case, i have been a permanent employee since march 2011 until october 2015 with no other income and hence never had the need to file SA tax return. In November 2015 I became a limited company director an...

Ok. My take on your questions. Thanks a lot Gudwin for your response, a few more comments from my end" Q1. Correct. Q2. You still, have to select that option, provide employer's letter with list of annual leaves and another letter from yourself listing all personal absences and reasons. Q3. BRP. Q4....
