1) You can apply for oci any time after naturalisation, but you will need original and copy of British passport and naturalisation certificate. So I suggest you get your British passport first. 2) Also you need to cancel your Indian passport first and then apply for oci. Both are separate processes....

You COULD loose your ILR if you stayed out of the UK for more than 2years.
You wouldn't loose anything if you were a British citizen (except 900 odd pounds of course) :)

Timmings for Delhi VFS office for collection of passport.

The visa office in New Delhi has made a decision on my mum-in-law's visa and have sent her an email asking her to collect her passport.
But they haven't given us a timing between which she needs to go.
