Obviously it meant nothing, because nothing has happened. The 15 days for review are well up so I guess I wait till November and see if they bother sending all the documents to the UK for a court appeal.

It WAS lodged throught the IAC. This is the stage where the ECO/ECM is allowed to review the decision. I just thought it a strange email and was asking if anyone else had seen a similiar one, as NOTHING about this application or appeal has been "normal" when reading through the forum.
