Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Well, amazingly received the approval letter now just as I was looking at Kiwirazz's post and thought to myself that it'll arrive this week. I always knew I had psychic powers, but it still amazes me to see them at work. Anyway, I jest. ILR SET(M) Applied via checking service, which I would highly r...

Re: Travel within EU during ILR due to family illness

I called the settlement contact centre just now and I was told that travelling outside UK will most likely result in a withdrawal of my application. I wouldn't mind the withdrawal so much as I would the no-refund thing. If it was refundable, I'd withdraw it myself straight away, visit grandma over t...

Re: Travel within EU during ILR due to family illness

You are correct, my partner is British and I got my passport back after the SCS. I'm just worried they'll withdraw the application if I leave the country. Thanks for the advice, it has given me an idea of what to expect. More importantly, I hope my grandma will be fine and I won't need to worry abou...

Travel within EU during ILR due to family illness

Hello everyone, I'd appreciate any advice in this sad situation. My grandma has been taken to hospital this week again; she had an operation and she'll have to stay for a while. I sent my application about a month ago via settlement checking service and obviously am not able to travel at the moment,...

Re: English C1 TOEFL done, but expired and lost

Ah, I tried calling UKVI, but after waiting for approx 30 mins I gave up. Phoned again later, still no answer.

I am certain I had two TOEFL certificates and I left one of them at the visa centre. I better try harder to find the other one now.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

English C1 TOEFL done, but expired and lost

Hello, I'm hoping my question will be fairly easy to answer. I am about to apply for SET(M) (although I don't need to due to now being EU, but I qualify as per transitional arrangements) and need to prove Knowledge of English. I did a C1 TOEFL approx 3 years ago (109/120), I also have a HNC taught i...

LoL. I've already got all my stuff, so I've read through the guidance several times, but never seem to find any details about that. Only vague information which doesn't clarify things. Just wondering, cause I like to toss my papers in the bin (I shouldn't do that really) and I want to be sure what I...

Tier 2 Salary checks and details

Hi, I've been looking for this for a while and can't seem to find much. What I'm wondering is when does one have to give payslips/documents/reports/whatever it is to UKBA to check on the salary? Does it happen every year, or at the end of employment or? Do I have to have a report from the bank for e...

Indeed, you do. You're entitled to medical care even if you're in UK on tourist visa. Talking from experience, my appendix burst when I was just visiting UK and got my operation and care here. And GP should allow you to register, or maybe not even register but definitely provide you with care as the...

I was hoping someone would know what would the supporting evidence be in case of having a job offer prior to applying for a spouse visa? (As in, someone who has done the same in the past.) I'm already in a civil partnership but I was applying for a Tier 2 visa as I thought it'll be easier when havin...

I also agree with the 2 posts above. Work permits are very difficult to get and if your relationship is genuine and lasted already for a long time, why not.

EDIT: I posted a question as well, but luckily found an answer. My apologies.

I'm not a moderator, but am quite sure they won't be doing anything about it.

New interim limit has been introduced as you know, so that's all.
If there was an actual gap with a month or more without any limits then maybe there would be some action about it, this way, don't count on it.

As sushdmehta said. Also, it has been added to Appendix A To your other question, I was never really sure what exactly goes under exceptional consideration. I thought it was for people whose visa is about to expire really soon. But don't take my word on this one, as I've never thought about that par...

" 63G. The total number of Certificates of Sponsorship available to be assigned to Sponsors further to paragraph 63D(i) is 9,803 as of 20 December 2010. " Just saw this, so the exceptional ones are indeed taken from the total interim limit number. *drama* Btw, the whole 63F paragraph looks just terr...

Is this more or less than before? Will it still mean that the cut-off point for non-shortage occupation will be £32,000? More as much as I can see. Previous number was around 2000 per month (on average) and now it's just over 3000. Don't know bout the exceptional ones, but I thought they were taki...

This decision has got immediate effect as much as I can see on News websites. HO will probably appeal against it, but I personally think there's no point for doing that as it's gonna take a long time, so they might as well calm down and wait until April. I knew Theresa May wasn't the nicest person, ...

Could this possibly mean that the CoS allocation will be available online and not through the special form requests? Hm. That'd be brilliant.

I hope someone will have some info very soon. :) Fingers crossed everyone. :)

Hi guys! Got a question but don't want to open a new topic and not very good with the search function.
