Re: Child Benefit received by spouse(British Citizen)

The option says-- 'Do you or anyone else who is part of this application receive any public funds'. Neither I or my daughter receives the benefit. It's my British citizen spouse who receives the benefit. My husband called the HMRC child benefit office and they said the child benefit is only on one p...

Re: Visit visa for parents

Thanks for the information mate. What documents one can provide to show attachments. We have many relatives in India, so showing their ID cards helps?

Thanks!

Re: Tier 1(General) dependent ILR - Absenses

Hi, I think the below link answer my question. Since our extension is prior to 11th jan 18 and no more extensions require for ILR, we will not fall into this rule. So absences after 11 jan 18 doesn't count. Third party weblink removed If anyone think my understanding is incorrect, please let me know...

Tier 1(General) dependent ILR - Absenses

Hi All, Sorry if this is already asked. Is it true that 180 absence rule ONLY apply to PBS deponents who get their INITIAL visa after 11th Jan 18? I was on the impression that it applies to ALL PBS dependent, but if their initial visa grated prior to 11th Jan 18, then previous absences are not count...

Re: 181 days out of country

Thanks for the clarification.
I notice my dependents were out of country in 2016 for 7 months. Is there any other rule, that not allow to be out of country for over 6 months when we go for ILR?

Thanks!

181 days out of country

Hi Experts, I am aware of the new rule where dependent should not be out of country for more than 6 months in a year. They went out of country on 1st Nov 2017 and came back on 1st May 2018, which gives total of 181 days. I know the new rule is implemented on 11th Jan 2018. They first arrived UK on A...

Re: Tier 1(General) Dependent- 180 absences for ILR

Thanks for the reply Sir.

Tier 1(General) Dependent- 180 absences for ILR

Hi Experts, I am little confused with 180 days rule implemented recently. Does this rule only apply to dependent visas issued after 11th Jan 2018? or Does it apply to everyone and if anyone with prior (ie. <2018) absences of 180 days not eligible for ILR after 5 yrs? or Does it apply to everyone and...

I was trying to see if I can save GBP 150 by not doing NARIC and based on what is mentioned in KoLL. I am in the same situation as yours. Unfortunately you cannot save 150 pounds. In order to tick the below points in page 15 you have to get a letter from NARIC or write the english exam. /* Starting...
