Re: Amendment to EEA Regulation from 1/01/2014 Singh diluted

Does anyone know if the new changes to Art 9 will have an impact on permanent residency applications as well? I am really worried now as I have brought my parents into the UK via Surinder Singh route, and although my move to a EU county was genuine, it was just before 1 January 2014, and the new cha...

Thank you so much for your reply, D4109125!

So you think if they don't live with me there, there is no chance? I was hoping to go there to work, then come back, and then they could apply to join me here. Is this unrealistic then?

Thanks again!

Surinder Singh route for elderly parents: length of stay

Hi everyone. I have been reading this forum for a while, and I think I got most of the information I need now, but I would appreciate if someone knowledgeable could answer a couple of questions. I am British but my parents are non-EU citizens. I have a good job in London and I have just been told th...

Surinder Singh - working in both UK and EU country

Hi, thanks for reading my post Just a quick question - can I be living in a EU country and be self-employed there, and at the same time be working for a UK company? The question is for the purposes of Surinder Singh route application, i.e. will I be considered exercising my right in the EU country i...
