Re: IELTS

Hi CR001,

It's B1 but the problem is they have amended the valid tests from IELTS to IELTS for UKVI. So last week she took that test just to make sure everything is in order. She took the Trinity College English test (Grade 5) and that is good enough for both ILR and Citizenship.

Thanks

IELTS

Hi Guys,

Quick question, My wife used her IELTS General certificate for her spouse extension in October 2010 and it was acceptable and she got her Visas. My question is given the fact that the test centre is still in the list is it still valid? In the test list it says IELTS for UKVI.

THanks

Re: Is there an alternative to submitting bank statements?

I am applying for my wife's visa and unfortunately, due to various reasons, my bank account isn't in the greatest health. My income is fine, I get a good stable income, but it will take a while for me to clear my debts. Looking at Appendix FM-SE, it seems I need to supply evidence of income. I have...

Hi I just spoke to the airline. They said they would not stop us if the Indian immigration clears us for travel. Do you think the Indian immigration should have any problem considering she only has a certificate and not a passport/visa? Regards sorry abcinfo, I am not from India and have 0 experien...

Can I apply for my wife's PBS dependant visa with my ILR approval letter? I got my ILR approval, but still waiting for BRP, her visa expiring in 2days.

Thanks.
I think so, I mean they have granted your visa and the BRP is the document to prove it. May be a senior member can confirm this.

Re: Spousal Visa Expiring - What next?

Thank you for your kind replies. I had an other question, when we do apply for her visa extension will she be granted 2.5 year visa or 3 years? The reason I ask is that we would like to go on holiday but if she is to be given a 2.5 years visa it will cause us problems in the future when it comes to...

Re: Rejected for Spouse Visa! NatWest bank statements!

Background: We applied via the Category F route since I am company director of a small business. I more than cover the 18,600 threshold. So we filed a priority service application from Singapore for UK Spouse Settlement Visa. We thought we were accepted because we got the "a decision has been made"...

Re: Visa to apply and English requirement?

What CR001 said is correct, she will be on PBS dependent visa until she completes 5 years towards the IRL.I know this because couple of my close friends are on the same boat. She does not need KOL or English tests till ILR. Well if you think about it in long term , PBS dependent is cheap and will b...

She can continue to extend as PBS Dependent until she qualifies for ILR. Thanks a lot for the quick reply. That was my first understanding. Re: Spouse of an EEA/British citizen

Flr(M) applications/BRPs do not say 'EEA/British Citizen' as Flr(M) can also be used for a spouse of a person on indefinite leave to remain. What the BRP says, is correct. I am pretty sure I have seen that on few visa vignettes before. Since I am a British citizen I thought they would have put that...

Hi All,

My wife received her BRP card today and I was hoping it would contain something similar to "Spouse of an EEA/British citizen". Instead it says Spouse/Partner Route. Is this the case now?

Thanks

Marriage certificate and wedding photos

Hi All,

Quick question, do we need both certificate and photos for the Extension FLR(M)? or just the certificate? we have provided tons of photos, cards, phone records, skype etc tec for the entry clearance.

EDIT: We do live together. We have been for more than two years.

thanks
