Re: Naturalisation Application

Thankyou yes my husbands details are on the form not mine. I’m just more worried now about the overstay and good character thing. Are there any cases where overstayer has been given BC. @ shatif, Yes I can tell that of my situation, and I got approved, after overstaying for almost a year and half.

Re: Unsuccessful applications

"But home office was aware since when i applied for PRC" This you say home office are aware of your court issue in the past? So if they are aware before in your previous application, and you didn't declare it again in your citizenship application, I think they see that as holding informations, and g...

Re: Unsuccessful applications

It is unbelievable. Suddenly I got a letter that I am granted British citizenship. I don't have any explanation to that. And also they don't inform me if my reconsideration form that was rejected will be reimbursed. Good luck to all. I have been following your tussle with the HO on the matter.. Did...

Re: HO asking for more evidence of residence - please help

@masta You can resubmit the passport you have (assuming this passport is the valid one to cover the cover the period they requested for, or if expired for the period, u can still supply it) In addition, you should send all the letters or docs u mentioned in your post, from hospital, opticians etc wh...

Re: Unsuccessful applications

Hi,
Contact them first and explain you didn't receive any letter requesting for such docs. Perhaps they thot it's included but didn't include it in the first envelope, as a mistake..

And ask what is the next step of action, and you can still provide this docs they requested for..

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

@ issy11, would be best to call HO to confirm about the payment worries.
They would be able to tell you, if they av not charged you yet for your application.

In my opinion, that's what I will do first.

All the best.

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

@ khlid, Yes, correct by bathroom11. In my opinion too, I will strongly suggest you wait till one year of the issue physical date of the PR card. I wouldn't go by the acquired letter date. Cos of some issues I av read on this forum, they applied with acquired date and later got refused.. ( to much o...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

@ khlid, I see some cases on here in forum, they got refused with the mix up from HO, ( between the acquired date of PR and the physical issue date) Maybe it depends on the caseworker who looked at the application, and got it wrong.. and some had to apply for reconsideration, ( if I remember right, ...

@Birmingham06,
Did u track the date they receive it?

And what last date did they indicate to you on the questionnaire to be back with the caseworker?

I remember mine had a pending date. And they received it two days before the pending date.
