Re: ILR rejected due to tax amendments

Step one is to find a good immigration solicitor. They will advise on how to progress with the appeal. Your success will depend on a number of factors including the efficiency of your solicitor. It is going to be a very costly affair but all is not lost. Good luck!

Re: ILR Tier 1 (General) Application Rejected: Please Help

@ QueryMakerK I am in the exact situation as you. Please keep us posted on how your fight goes. My advice is before you see a lawyer, read the rejection letter carefully, make a copy and highlight each point mentioned in it and prepare your reasons/justifications. This would come in handy when you d...

Re: delay in ILR Application

Hello all, after 18 months of mental torture, I received refusal letter today stating 322(5) and 245CD(b) as grounds of refusal. The 6-page cover letter I submitted with my application explaining the reasons for my tax amendments have been completely ignored. It is a real shame that due to a few di...

@hairy Did your declare dividends in sa302 at right time or you just amded your sa302??? If sa302 is filed correctly at right time when it was actually due then you might get away with this issue... Case worker put ILR on hold due to no HMRC returns

I'm in a similar situation but my limited company was closed down and no returns were filed for a period where I showed dividends. So I don't have CT600's. I have started the process to file SA Tax returns for the period where I claimed dividends from my limited company. Do you think I can submit ju...

Re: ILR Refused for late ammendments

Hey guys I'm in a similar situation. I went for a premium appointment at Sheffield for T1G to ILR. The CW asked for CT600 for both years where I used earnings from my limited company to support my T1G applications (2011 - original application and 2013 - extension). I had one for the original period ...

Re: CT600 for T1G to ILR - Urgent please help!!!

you need to file both SA and CT if you file only one it will call fraud, because you can only take dividend when you have enough profit in the company so you pay corporation tax on the profit and take the dividend simple as that, hope you understand the logic, basically you need to declare both SA ...

Re: CT600 for T1G to ILR - Urgent please help!!!

Yes you can file sa302 for respective years but problem is hmrc takes 3 to 4 months or even more to update it. Another prob is CW ask about ct600 so if you want to amend company accounts you need to restore your company and it will be restored through court order and whole procedure is of more than...

Re: CT600 for T1G to ILR - Urgent please help!!!

you can still do the SA, you may have to pay some penalties but they will open your file and then you need to do the SA for that period, you can do on-line, so speak to the hmrc and sort it out. they will help you or seek professional accountant advice and help. thanks Hi Ahmed, thank you very much...

Re: CT600 for T1G to ILR - Urgent please help!!!

Thx for your prompt reply so you are saying you dont even declare dividends in self assesment sa302??? So means dividends not declared in ct600 and in sa302 right??! No the dividends weren't included in the ct600 and my accountant didn't file a return for the year 2013. He advised me to close down ...

Re: CT600 for T1G to ILR - Urgent please help!!!

hi Harimyfriend, your best options are 1. Amend your personal tax and include the dividend amount. 2. reinstate your company and amend your corporation tax returns thanks Option 1 - Can I do that for 2012-2013 period? Option 2 - Would I be able to file returns so far back after reinstating the comp...

Will you mind telling me about your sa302 for required years.did you declare all of your dividends that is during initial and extension time for sa302?? Please eleborate your case bit more.thanks Thanks for your reply. I have not requested for an SA302. So HMRC is not aware of the dividends I guess.

CT600 for T1G to ILR - Urgent please help!!!

I have been in the UK for the last 5 years on Tier 1 General. When I applied for my Tier 1G (2011) and its extension (2013), I had used my limited company income (dividends). When I applied for my ILR today (11 May 2016), the case worker asked me to provide CT600s for both years (2010-2011 and 2012-...
