Guys...quick query - is the dependent of a primary tier 1 visa holder allowed to work in the UK? Also, is there a restriction that the dependent cannot work until the primary holder starts working?

Hey..so a quick update, veering on the side of caution, I contacted VFS & the UK HC Visa helpline, and got a positive confirmation from both. Will take along a printout while travelling.

All, Submitted our application today (in Bangalore) and learnt that most photos taken outside would be rejected (as ours were, 2 sets done by GK Vale) as the required specifications have changed . Submitted our application today and paid the entire fees in cash at the VFS bank counter, within the VFS premises. They charged Rs 200 extra per person, but did it fairly quick (<5 minutes).
