I also hold and Indefinite Leave to Enter but applied for a Schengen before it 'expired' and got it quick. You also certainly do not need much documents like a normal schengen application. What I actually meant was when do I have to apply for my ILR from a spouse visa as mine is a 27 month spouse visa? Is it by the 24th or the 27th month.

Thank you very much for the help, Finally, if I did'nt contact the UKBA to correct my endorsement will it be a problem if I apply for ILR once i have lived in the UK for 2 years ? And will I be able to apply for citizenship as they, the ECO at the BHC has issued me with a Visa based on his decision?...
