Ironically, the reason I didn't use a cheque or postal order was because the payment processing time with a credit or debit card is faster... Really regretting that now!

Unless a request for withdrawal is made and received by UKBA in writing (post / fax / email) from the applicant, there is no request for withdrawal. You cannot request for withdrawal on the phone. thats how it works with solicitors. they are allowed to submit request only a week before. however, do make sure that solicitor is registered with OISC Actually, I'm pretty sure that they have to submit the request three weeks in advance. I tried calling but they're only giving out appointments until December 13th. They had one available (literally the next day) but I won't be able to make it.
