Replacing a lost BRP card - Processing time

Hi All, My sister lost her BRP card while abroad (it could have been at the airport in the UK), she was fortunately allowed back into the UK after long tedious checks at Heathrow customs. She now has to replace the card and is really short on time, having read the application form on gov.uk, are the...

Re: ILR application after 6 years Discretionary Leave to Rem

Provided that the second DLR application was made in time, which is in your case, YES you can apply in JUNE as the Section 3C would have been initiated as he send an in-time application for his second renewal, making his leave continuous. Use SET(O) form. Yes, you can use premium service centre. Yo...

ILR application after 6 years Discretionary Leave to Remain

Hi all, I'm supporting a younger sibling in the process of putting together an application for his Indefinite Leave to remain and I have a couple of questions. He was born December 1992, first entered into the UK with our parents at the age of 11 (August 2004) on a 6 month C-Visit Visa (Valid from A...

Re: Application for ILR - Absences - Paid employment abroad

There is no set period of how long a DLR applicant can stay abroad. DLR is issued outside the immigration rules. It is governed by executive policies. I believe a period of 4-6 months work overseas, should be reasonable in all the circumstances. Many thanks for your response Obie. That's great news...

Application for ILR - Absences - Paid employment abroad

Hi guys, I have a question with regards to how absences are counted for ILR applications. It's on behalf of a family member. She's been in the country since July 2004 when she was 12 years old but was only granted a discretionary (limited) leave to remain in June 2010 (parents did not apply until 20...

Many thanks all, really appreciated.

To add to this, domestic violence was involved at times and this application route may be pursued.

Since the incident was not reported at the time, is there any sort of other evidence that can be used other than the police report?

Thanks vinny,

I understand it is deemed overstaying and I therefore don't qualify. Please can you offer advice as to if the application may be considered as unintentional overstaying or will be assessed on the normal grounds of overstaaying
