- So I will complete everything in the online application
- Submit my online application on the same day of my marriage and get the closest VFS appointment
- Submit all documents through VFS
- Wait for the Visa

I don't think that would be possible.

1) apply for your OCI
2) apply for your wife' and son's OCI after you have your OCI as it is part of the required prof if applying for OCI as a spouse of an OCI holder

Hi Joshig

I don't think that's possible as one of the requirements to submit an OCI application is to submit the surrender certificate as an evidence with the application.

So you would have to wait for your surrender certificate before applying for the OCI.

I guess the answer is no, have to get surrender certificate first than go for X category visa. Although she can travel on her Indian passport, she is a bit cautious of any issue it may cause. So we will go a little safer and get her visa on British passport instead.

Thanks for your help, but I am unable to find this visa you mentoned. There is e-tourist visa which is the fastest but only for a month and the other fastest one is the 3/6 months tourist visa which I will be applying for.

Thanks CR001 Yes I forgot to mention Marriage Certificate, that's also ready. I will apply through NCS, I am not worried about the money just need it stress free and quick. She came to the UK on the 24th of March 2012, so passes that requirement. Once again thanks a lot for confirming and your help.
