I have applied 07 jan and called DX today...they said there is nothing for me in their records yet.

Just an update! Rang HO to follow up on progress of my application (applied on 7th Jan). Was told by the lady that my application hasnt been assigned to case worker yet but they are working on the applications from second half of Dec (which is consistent with the skydrive). Hopefully they start Jan ...

I have also tried the 0151 number today and option 2 goes to another 2 option (that lead to no one answering).
I think maybe they disabled the option 2 forcing people to call 0300 number.

I was wondering if this is due to the recent political fiasco over immigration stats.

I was very glad with the rate that HO was processing the applications...hope it stays like that
