Re: Warning by UKBA and British Citizenship.

As long as you were not asked to appear in a court you don't have to declare it. I'm not sure if they had a question about warnings when I applied but I did not declare anything.

Re: Warning by UKBA and British Citizenship.

Hi, I would be grateful if someone can answer my question. My naturalization application was sent to HO (by NCS) on 19th March 2012, and I was returning to the UK the same day from my visit to India. Unfortunately, I was carrying more than the allowed limit of Spirit and Cigarettes (purchased from ...

But in the application it asks if I had more than one PCN so doesnt it mean they have a way of checking? Thenderera, the application refers to Fixed Penalty Notice (PCN) which usually comes with some points on your license. What you have is simple 'Penalty Charge Notice' (PCN), which is only a Pena...

I am going to accept it and it is £60 fine and 3 points. Two queies - 1) Do I need to declare it? - Is it under ...

I 100% agree with "cricinfo" it is not a minor offence. You should wait until the conviction is spent. Wrong. There is no conviction, and when there is no conviction then there is no spent period. FPN is not a conviction. When they say that minor offences could be disregarded and using mobile is no...

Joint Application-what happens if one of them is refused?

Hi, does any one have any idea what happens in case of a Joint Application if one of the applications is refused. Does it affect the other application? I understand citizenship applications are not dependent on each other and one qualifies on own merit, but since its a joint reference/file number do...

Hello, 1.Me and my wife are applying together as joint application. In this case do we have to submit the marriage certificate along with application though her passport has my name endorsed as husband? Many thanks guys! Had posted this question under another topic which confirms its sent using 2nd class, which is rather unreliable. In this day and age the least they could do is have a system in place where they text/email you to look out for it once they send it out, don't see how that would add t...

Re: What postal service is used for BC approval letter?

Hi, does anyone know by what postal method the approval is sent if applied through NCS? i.e. 1st, 2nd class or Special Delivery? Thanks I haven't seen one, but I understand it is 2nd class post. Thanks, that's a bit unreliable, and no way of knowing if it's lost in the post, unless you call up the ...

Well they are: * Not BC * Application * Decision * If approved, ceremony While within the HO the application goes through several stages (payment, scanning, checks, caseworker) but this shouldn't matter to you as you don't have visibility of that. Hi, does anyone know by what postal method the appr...

Many thanks for your reply! Although I was a bit disturbed I am quite sure the officer mentioned UKBA computers. Also, the warning letter I received is headed (Home Office) UKBA, and I think 'customs' department now comes under Home Office. Assuming this does go onto UKBA computers, are (first time)...
