Hi Jambo, My friend is in a similar situation to ftse100. She is also eligible to apply for BC in March but due to a prolonged absence she has to wait. She left the UK in Sept 2011 and turned in feb 2012. But her passport was not sealed in the country she entered in Sept. She wanted to know if it wa...

Cheers thanks MPH80. i guess she just has to wait another two years before she can apply for british citizenship. I hope they don't change the rules by then. Even if they do change rules, will it apply for people who've already received their ILR?

No, Not all categories require you spouse to live in the UK for 2 years to obtain ILR. So shes got ilr based on my 5yr wp.
Does student visa count for 3 yr resident. But has a gap of 15 days between her 2 visas.

Thanks for ur reply

Kind Regards,
Sur

Hello everyone. I successfully received my passport today with ILR. There are no words to explain the relief. It has been the most frustrating wait ever. But all those who've applied- just hang in there. Just divert your thoughts elsewhere (i know its impossible) but i've learnt thinking about it co...

hi guys,
Can someone tell me how to track a prepaid royal mail delivery. The receipt has reference number to track only the one i sent but not the one i will receive. Will the reference number for both be the same?
The ilr wait is driving me nuts.
