I am going to apply through Tier 2 migrant.

I am not sure if I need my employer letter for my absence since I haven't had more absences from the UK than 180 days.

I am wondering if people who applied wrote countries on the list with "Annual Leave".

Kind regards,

Reason for absence

Hi all,

I am writing a set application form and I am wondering what to write on "Reason for absence".

All of my absence are holidays. Can I write "Annual leave" or "Holidays", or should I write countries where I have been to as well?

Kind regards,

Hi, thank you all for your reply.

I have been looking for their contact, but I still don't know where I should contact.

Do you know their email address or phone number?

Kind regards,

Subject Access Request

Hi all, I've requested my visa history for the last five years, and I received a letter showing that UKBA received my request on 10 April. Since then, I've heard nothing form them even though they mentioned that they would deal with my request within 40 days. Now I am wondering if I could enquiry re...

Thank you for your replay. As I read the UKBA documents about days absence, I am still not sure how they count it. According to the document, "Only whole days absences are counted. Part day absences, for example, less than 24 hours duration are not counted." For instance, if I went out from the UK o...

How to count days of absence from the UK

Hi all,

I am wondering if they count a day, such as leaving the UK just before midnight and arriving the UK just after midnight, into 180 days.

Kind regards,

Hi, I have got an email from my solicitor, and my application was approved. But my Biometric Residence Permit hasn't been updated, so I will probably able to work within the next week. I have done biometric enrolment on 8/11/2011, so if I calculate the timeline in accordance with your information, I...

to yuvancse Hi, it seems to me you have no choice but have to tell your situation to your employer. You still have a little time before expiring your visa, so I may suggest that 1. research visa situation of your company I do believe you have some colleagues who work in tier 2 visa, so you can get s...

Hi, I am in the similar situation now. My solicitor submitted my application on 26/10/2011, and I did biometric enrolment on 8/11/2011. Since then, I have been waiting for any letter from UKBA, but no letter yet. If it is true on the website pacvenkatesh addressed, I am in trouble with my applicatio...

I don't know about dependents, but I think that's all you need to send.

All you have to do is to apply for a tier 2 visa immediately, and just wait.

Though it takes more than four weeks to get approval letter in order to start working...

rejected the new visa affects the current visa?

Hi, I'm wondering if my application for the new tier 2 visa(new employment) is rejected, what's gonna happen to my current tier 2 visa?

Is it still alive and can I keep working for my current employer?

or It's already invalid and I have to leave?
