Re: Tier 1 General - 3rd Extension?

Thank you everyone for replying. Yes I want to do it for the peace of mind. I have spoken to my solicitor and he said I should be fine to just do the ILR next year instead of extending this year. You mentioned that the threshold for ILR is higher. What does that mean? ILR is still point based with 8...

Tier 1 General - 3rd Extension?

Hi experts, With the deadline coming soon for the Tier 1 general extensions, I am tempted to go for a 3rd extension. First visa: 16 June 2011- 16 June 2013 Second visa: 13 May 2013 - 16 June 2016 Between the first date and the last expiry, I will have 5 years. But that's without any buffer. I like t...

Re: BRP(RC) applications

Today I sent my BRP(RC) application because my BRP is damaged. I included my BRP but not my passport because I'm applying for a like-for-like replacement without any changes of personal details. That's what I assumed from the Section 3 of the form where it says passport might not be required. Can so...

Doing T1 extension - when is the date for first application?

Hi everyone, I've got a question that might sound very dumb. I'm doing my T1 General Extension, and on it I have to state the date of my first successful application. Where can I get this date? Is this the start date on my biometrics card for T1 General? Is this the date when I posted my first T1 Ge...

I'm the director of my own company, does that make a difference on what I can claim as my earnings? I'm really hoping that it can be my sales figure. I'm worried that I won't have enough points for my earnings section. Is there anything I can do after the application has been submitted?

Also, I understand that the minimum required points is 75
But within that 75, does it include points for UK experience, maintenance of funds, and English language?
Or is that completely separate and outside the 75 total?

Another question (sorry for being an idiot) - I've done my biometrics at the post office on the 4th of March. Is there anything that I need to do after? Do I need to send proof to UKBA?
Will they send me a letter confirming that they've received my biometrics?

I registered my own limited company. What does that mean then for my "earnings"? because I take the least possible amount for my salary and leave everything in my business account.

If I've made a mistake unintentionally will they let me know? Or will they reject my application?

I'm under full time employment as a contractor for a bank for the past 14 months. I have to do all the work myself I can't hire anyone, I have a set amount of hours daily, I have a line manager that tells me what to do, I don't risk my own money, I only work for 1 company.
