Hello, Is it possible to request a reconsideration rather than a appeal ? as appeal can take 9 months for settlement visas. If so, do I fill the VAF 4 again ? or just submit a letter with new documents? The reasons as posted in my previous posts is not a big deal. Seems like ECO didnt read the docum...

Also I have heard about a reconsideration where the all the documents are submitted again with a letter asking ECO to reconsider.

Hello, Thanks for the reply. Appeal can take up to 9 months. We cannot stay apart for long. Is it possible for her to apply as a family visitor while the appeal is in process. She can stay in the UK for 6 months and then wait for the appeal verdict. OR will ECO suspect family visitor visa can be use...

Spouse visa reconsideration

Hello,

My wifes settlement visa was refused due to some very strange reasons. And we have information to counter these reasons.

We have 28 days to appeal.

Is it possibe to ask them to resonsider instead of appealing and submit all documents again.
