You don't need a solicitor, you can do it on your own, just follow the guidance notes and provide all the evidence. Don't waste your money!!

I know a friend of mine who won her case after she had initially applied for a settlement visa for her mother. Your fresh application should be treated on its own merit. You will need a good solicitor to fight your case though!!
