Re: Strange Letter from UKBA

noajthan, I think there should be some logic/common sense in every department and atleast in this case government department also seem to have. I think the letter is because of my request to delete my biometric information and since I send both the cancelled BRP cards and biometric deletion request ...

Re: Strange Letter from UKBA

baddy, You may have a point (but we are not talking about whether to reject the visitor visa or not) I am trying to find out what is the purpose of the letter here, even with your logic None of the documents requested have anything to do with ID proof. All are pointing to address proof. All those do...

Re: Strange Letter from UKBA

ha ha.. Yeah it was from Home office. The letter mentioned as UK Visas & Immigration which while typing it in hurry I typed it as UKBA. Re: British Citizenship following ILR

Just to add there is another service provided by council called JCAP where you can jointly apply for the passport at the sametime along with the citizenship application. So once your citizenship application is approved and you attend the ceremony and receive the certificate the passport will be sent...

Questions in MN1 Application

Hi Gurus, I have a few questions while filling up the MN1 application and would like to know your inputs. Re: UKNARIC letter for Naturalisation

What naric letter did you get it before? SOC or ELA letter? I believe it should either of these and you can still use it. Home office is not clear on what they want but I submitted my application with SOC and got the approval without any problems.

Thanks,

Hi, Yes your wife is eligible to apply for ILR as well as your child. sometimes the customer service of home office can be misleading, if you try calling again you might get a different answer. Re: Naturalisation ack/approval letter has same reference?

If the council have received details of ur certificate, certainly you would have received the approval letter by then, unless you think you have your address changed/or your approval letter getting lost in transit. In my opinion it is of no use. Just to answer your question they are different, ur ap...

Re: Documents to exit India (child with British passport)

Hi,

Sorry I don't have any information on it, but would like to know how long it took for you to get the british passport? I believe you would have applied from India?

Trying to identify timelines here for future reference.

Thanks,

P.S: My mistake for not reading through the whole application and looking at all the options provided in the application. Looks like I have wasted 55£ by applying for statement of c...
