Working during application time

Hi all

I was wondering - are we allowed to work on probation whilst we wait for the psw application result to come back? The student visa allows full time work but not in a permanent position, so how about on a probationary basis?

Lloyds TSB! I did a check right now, it has the logo, my name, address, account number and sort code on the online statement that can be printed. As long as I get that stamped at the branch and an original letter on a Lloyds letterhead I should be safe right?

Pretty sure they're not closing it. The shadow chancellor too mentioned that them not closing psw was a u turn.

I was watching it too.. What I heard was, it stays open as it is till 2012, and from then on only graduate level jobs can be taken in PSW, with additional requirements or something like that.
