Put the citizenship date (ceremony). Passport is just the travel document issued after you becoming naturalized british.

JOHN,

I agree the above documents are not necessary. May be i was anxious and was trying to provide as much as information to satisfy good character requirement (paying tax etc).

In reality very few documents required according home office tick box.

I agree with you my situation was different and i was director of limited company but above person is self employed.

If you dont do it through accountant it will make no difference to your application.

Above is just my experience i am sure there is cheaper way plz wait for seniors to reply and give there suggestions.

i would suggest you go in person to nearest VFS and apply as i heard horror stories of loosing documents and delay in application process. I am 100% positive ur eligible for entry visa if you held previously indian passport.

I applied for surrender certificate on 13/04/2011 in VFS victoria and i was told it can take 15 days and currently some delays in process.

So i applied for the 6 months entry visa while applying for Surrender certificate and thinking about applying OCI in later months.

i think there shouldn't be any problem as long you prove that ur in laws and parents are accommodated in big enough property (rental contract or mortgage statements)

Last year I invited 5 of my relatives in two different times in 2010.

Sorry i didnt read the earlier messages correctly. I got my passport after two days of interview although they told me it takes 10 days.

When was your interview conducted? I got the passport directly without any email correspondence.

Its good idea to subscribe one month free experian and all your credit arrangement will reflect on your account information. You can always cancel your subscription before the free period.

Previously i was on work permit and later got Permanent Residency and started my own business and got Naturalization in march 2011.
