you are entitled to social welfare and it doesn't effect your rights, but it would be better if EU citizen spouse works even part time otherwise you might have problem in getting permanent resident card after 5 years

does anybody know that as a part of Naturalisation application in Ireland do they do background check with UK or other EU countries ??
