haven't heard anything but really keen to know if anyone's heard anything about this.

The department has been extremely slow with responses to even renewals of stamp 0's

I got approval last year, sent card + 950 (me and my wife's) and also I emailed to check they had received it, which they replied that they did but I still don't have the invitation letter.

I travel every week for work and I asked the immigration officer before I sent my GNIB card and they gave me the following advice. Always carry a copy of your GNIB card so that they can validate it in the system (which they did the last 2 times) Always carry the letter or a copy of the letter of app...

my brother in law has gotten a reply that he will be indeed entitled to a temporary stamp 4 while the finalised authorisation is done.

thank you very much, he did not get a refusal he got asked for more information the first time and then just received the acknowledgement and this letter said to wait for 6 months and not to contact before the 6 months are up. The letter does not say anything about temporary arrangements unfortunate...
