Re: Any NCS accepts ONLINE passport applications along with

Thanks for the response; i'm not sure if council websites list this specific exception, so its not difficult for someone to assume that online application will be fine.

Re: Can child travel as PBS dependant when parents are on IL

Hi again,

I have booked an appointment for myself and my wife at Solihull PSC, My 4 year old son would be accompanying us to the application though.

Query:- Is there a restriction to allow ONLY the applicants in PSC?

Could someone please clarify?

Many Thanks,
Jay

Re: New English Requirement 2015

Hi,
I'm in a similar situation, the point based calculator that will be used is tier 2 (general) as there's no longer an option for tier 1 general? Am I correct?

Thanks,
Jay

I would be careful and present the most recent bank statement, get the bank to print out the statement till date and attest it.

Its a bit of the task but usually helps.

Also,
bank statements for the last three/six months and a letter from the bank confirming that account balance in INR & GBP conversion for last 90 days usually helps.

You first need to get UK birth certificate from your council/borough and then based on that you will have to apply for Indian birth certificate and Passport for your new born. The entire process could be done within a month, if you are prompt. This is what I did: 1) Get the UK birth certificate. 2) ...

Has anyone else gone through the same?

Thanks in advance,

I actually went a day before as my appointment at 09.30...yes you will have a take a taxi to reach there, its not very far (but not walking distance either) it takes around 5 hours from luston to glasgow but the train journey is quite pleasant I would say.

If the bank can provide printouts (like barclays) and have them stamped, that be fine.

Hope this helps.

Yes, As mentioned they took 15 mins to have a look at my documents and make a judgement. I went in at 09.00 in morning and was out at 10.45 with all biometrics done..

My personal experience was fantastic!

Hi,
If all your documents are fine, then I would assume that your decision should not take more than 2 hours at PEO and you should get the passport on the same day.

Hope this helps.
