Re: Applying OCI for Minor Only

You as parent only sign Part B of the application form. The photograph & thumb impression of the actual child applicant needs to be uploaded and imprinted on the application form. Additionally, you will also need to sign the self declaration form on behalf of the child. Thanks a lot for guidance so...

I registered the details of my child as the main applicant to overcome this problem. Given that there is DOB detail along with the applicant details, they know that the applicant is a minor.
did you upload your signature / Signed on behalf of minor?

Thanks Ban. Then, is it okay to go for Birth Registration and followed by Indian Passport? After that, can I then go for British Passport? From the above, I can see its a dual citizenship right? Will that work? Anyway, I don't want to use Indian Passport. I just want to have Birth Ceritificate regi...

Are we sure, we are eligible to apply for Tourist visa to India whilst our OCI application is in progress, any links confirming this would be super helpful. OCI and Travel visa are two different things and there is no connection between them. So there is no question of whether you are in the middle...

The child can apply for OCI as an adult on her/his own merit and that should be sucessful
Do not know what you mean by that. it is clearly written on the OCI FAQ that child cannot apply on his own unless his/her application is accompanied by adult application for OCI.
