Child British passport

Hi,

Me and my wife are both with ILR for more than 2 years, our son was born 2 months ago. Is he eligible for British citizenship. Also can I apply for the British passport directly without
T applying for citizenship? Thanks.

Settlement Application for ageing parents

Hi My Mum and Dad are currently in the Uk as family visitors, and I am the only child. I would like to apply for their settlement in the UK since they have no one to take care of them except myself. They do not have any major medical problems. We have decided to spend time and live together in the U...

I have had the same issue with council, when they issued me with 2 statements for payment....I had to speak to them to have this rectified.

from what you have mentioned it should have no implication whatsoever with your ILR application. Good Luck!

be careful with this and do not igore bailiffs letter, everytime bailiffs write or visit, you will be charged. go to council offices and speak to them immdeiately.

with respect to your ILR application- teust me, this should have no effect whatsoever, although other opinions may vary. Good luck

Hi, On the UKBA website it say wp holders to provide most recent payslip. I provided 3 months worth of payslips and bk statements. in fact the case worker asked me to provide these, you should be fine if you do so. Dont worry if your salary was less that SOC code in the past, as long as you are paid...

you should be fine, but see if you can include any correspondence from NHS, HMRC, just to be on the safer side.

The thing with cohab is views can differ from one indivudal to another. Good luck!

Cheers Barker....BIK is not part of the salary and only forms part of P11d. Normally your PA gets reduced by the level of benefit provided and you are taxed accordingly on your salary.

This cannot be used towards calculationg your gross income for ILR purposes. Speak to your employer and request him for a pay increase

There no written rules in this regard. The problem you have is that you are being paid by the holding company. As long as Home Office can see the connection of the subsidiary for which your work permit was approved to the holding commany, i personally done see any issues. This could have been done b...

UKBA will have compliant policy and there are supposed to have one by law and should produce it when requested. The compliant policy will detail the procedure to be applied. In the event you are not able to get a response or UKBA fail to provide the copy of their compliant policy, this is what I wil...

Guys, There is nothing to worry about, From my point of view the CW's are only interested if you qualify for ILR based on present circumstances. No CW will go digging in your past WP details without a solid reason. I was on WP for five years and got ILR in Feb, My salary increased around 10-15K mark...

there is no definite answer to your question. I personally will say that you should be fine, as long as you do not have series of motoring or criminal offences.

have you declared this offence?

Once you get your ILR, your husband should apply for FLR (M). He will not get ILR before FLR(M). If he does not apply for FLR M his current leave may be curtailed. Also I think that he can apply for ILR straightaway after FLR (M) as long as he has spent 2 years as your dependant. See the below post,...
