Applying for my UK born 2 year old. I got my ILR in July. Got the kid's UK citizenship certificate last week. Will I need to get the British passport before surrendering Indian passport? Or can I kick off both these processes at the same time, independent of each other? What is 'self attest'? And w...

Does anybody know if they return the original Indian Passport along with the surrender certificate?

My Countersignatory doesn't have company letterhead. Does anybody know if he can reply on plain paper? Any experience please? just try to reply to IPS alteast on white paper let countersignatory explain everything i hope it should be fine as long as he sign and confirm that he signed ur photographs...

Hi Nazia, sorry for my being a bit pedantic here... Did you mean you asked IPS to provide another referee and they will gave 2 weeks time or they wait for 2 weeks for the existing one to reply and if he doesn't they will let me know?

called the passport office and they are saying under review and may take upto 6 weeks.
