Applying for my UK born 2 year old. I got my ILR in July. Got the kid's UK citizenship certificate last week. Will I need to get the British passport before surrendering Indian passport? Countersignatory

INFO:

My countersignatory had received letter to confirm that he had signed on my form. He was asked to reply on a business headed letter.

He responded on plain paper stating that he doesn't have a business headed letter. And it worked fine as I received interview letter and I had my interview.

My Countersignatory doesn't have company letterhead. Does anybody know if he can reply on plain paper? Any experience please? just try to reply to IPS alteast on white paper let countersignatory explain everything i hope it should be fine as long as he sign and confirm that he signed ur photographs...

Hi Nazia, sorry for my being a bit pedantic here... Did you mean you asked IPS to provide another referee and they will gave 2 weeks time or they wait for 2 weeks for the existing one to reply and if he doesn't they will let me know?

hi, i applied for my passport on 26th october and still waiting for the letter for passport interview... or return of my docs. is that normal?

Hi, can somebody please advise: what if one of the spouse decide not to take british citizenship after receiving the approval. we have now a change of mind and one of us want to keep indian passport.

also, do you lose your ILR when you receive the approval for citizenship?
