Good news to share! I have been approved a 30 months Discretionary Leave to Remain. Its a long wait, 11 months from the time i lodge my application but its worth it. And i received it on the 1st birthday of my daughter. So its a good news really. I am over the moon. Thanks to my brilliant solicitor.

The college may have unwittingly made you sign on a contract with terms and conditions. Hopefully if you haven't signed anything and just paid the fees than you should be able to have fees refunded,contact a decent solicitor your college will cough up the entire amount or else they may have to end ...

There is no suggestion that outstanding article 8 applications will be rejected or refused without consideration. Article 8 hasn't been abolished!
