Re: ILR Postal TIMELINES- SET(O) SET(F) SET(M) (not Set(LR) PLS)

After 23 months and 7 days of waiting in 'open prison' my ILR was approved by the HO. Note that the HO sent the acknowledgement letter and biometric letter to the wrong address (my neighbors) - informed HO twice about their error and they still sent correspondence to my neighbor's address ...

Re: Employer received letter from Immigration Enforcement

My employer received a similar letter as well; so my employer used the Employer Checking Service (https://www.gov.uk/employee-immigration ... ent-status).

They received a response within 5 business days confirming I was eligible to work.

Re: Payslips confirmation letter - Letter Date?

I have another related query:- We are allowed to claim earnings on any consecutive 12 months from last 15 months. If we do not claim the immediate last 12 months, the last payslip will not be within 1 month of the application date which is not fulfilling the section 11 'documents ' requirement in ...

Re: Payslips confirmation letter - Letter Date?

Am I missing something here. What is the payslip confirmation letter for? - The payslip confirmation letter is required where the payslips are not on company letter headed paper/official payslips or if the applicant generally receives their payslips electronically which would have to be printed out ...

No disrespect to the lady from the HR department at your place of work but I do believe she's got her facts mixed up. I think she's making a play with words like 'permanent' to cause confusion and maybe feels the need to make comments like that because she feels by doing so she's looking out for the ...

Not entirely sure of what you're asking but maybe you could get an answer from here (the term 'permanent job' wasn't used though).

Hi divesh777 Both lists are valid for you. If your sponsor (employer) offers you a job which IS on the shortage occupation list, then you will automatically score the full points (50 points) for 'attributes' and will not have to score enough points for 'Prospective Earnings' or 'Qualifications'. If ...

Yes, that link/document you posted is valid - it applies to work permit holders; Tier 2 (General), Tier 2 (ICT), Tier 5, Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) etc. The link I posted is the official Shortage Occupation list mainly for the Tier 2 of the points based system (which is what I believe you requested for ...

Vinny's post is exactly the reason why I prefer postal. For instance, if one uses a courier service and unfortunately there is some sort of delay in delivery causing the date of delivery to fall on a day after the expiry date of one's permit, the applicant will not get an appeal if the outcome of ...

There is no such form as a 'Tier 1 General Extension' form, it's just the 'Tier 1 General' form (version 04/13) that is valid for applications made on or after 06 Apr 2013. Bear in mind that the Tier 1 (General) route has been closed (for just over 2 yrs now) so whatever application that is being ...

Documentation provided looks up to spec (obviously you'd be providing your bank statements too - in line with the specs outlined by UKBA). In my opinion, you're good to go - so nothing to worry about.

All the best.

Re: Applying for a tier1 and tier4 visa

I would like to know if applying for a 6 month tier 1 general visitor visa would allow me to enter a few months earlier? As far as i know, there's no such permit as a 'Tier 1 General Visitor' visa. I think you mean the 'General Visitor' visa. Would that be an issue since my tier 4 student visa is ...
