DX is relatively good and secure and the ease or otherwise of delivery depends on the area. Its all for your own good I guess, the passport is not cancelled, simply re arrange delivery, simples!

I will say you should hold fire! Relax and be hopeful. HSMP JR applications are seen as an aberration and akin to amnesty for applicants under the program. The program itself was fraught with delays and adjudications, so far you are free of any criminal record, they may only delay for like 5 months ...

Evidence of relationship is now the main thrust by which family visit applications are refused currently. Include family pictures birth certificates and your sponsor should provide a self explanatory letter regarding your relationship. Best of luck.

Greenie thanks! The local authority are all involved and aware! No secrecy. Its a family arrangement and not a private fostering arrangement! If its a secret affair it wont be discussed here. The carer is a law abiding citizen that why she is making the application for a UKBA decision. All nuts and ...

Thanks Greenie. DLR seems possible per chance. Better than being in the dark. And if push comes to shove, no problems, but the Articles and the discretionary rules were created for situations like this. Not good for a child to be irregular. Whatever the decision, life continues. Its not a do or die ...

Greenie, thanks. They have the answers for them and UKBA too will tell the courts why they want to go contrary to their policy of the best interest of a child with roots in the UK. Its a vibrant case and all parties are ready for the outcome. A decision must be taken by UKBA. Discretion favours but ...

Call the Homeoffice and seek a progress enquiry on your application. They will let you know if its your application or not. Seems though it cant be your application because of the size of the package. Even at that the Homeoffice is not super efficient to consider an application within that time fram...

Interesting! Your post shows you gave them the lattitude to relax as well. My take is that every application over 14weeks should attract a follow up letter! This allows an independent official to check what is going on. Another advantage is that if push comes to shove, the Tribunal wont accuse you o...
