Reporting Center Text Message Not Received After Appeal Hearing. What Is Happening?

My Appeal ( EEA Extended Family Member ) was finally heard on May 10, 2019. Before the appeal, I have been attending the Reporting Center every Month. I usually get a text Message from the Home Office a week before my next hearing. I have been reporting since late 2017. I did not get the usual repor...

Re: No right of appeal against refusal of residence card to

Hello Forum Members, I have just returned to this forum after my EFM EEA Appeal was not heard by the Judge on Tuesday 25th of July 2017 at the First Tier Tribunal. The Judge dismissed my case based on SALA. My sponsor and I were very upset because we felt our Lawyer should have known about the Sala ...

Re: Serious Advice Needed. EEA PR APPLICATION.

What does 'Member of The Household' mean in the Form for applying for the PR Card ( EEA4 )? I believe I am a Member of my Sponsors household. Can someone explain this better for me? Thanks.

Re: Serious Advice Needed. EEA PR APPLICATION.

@Noajthan, thanks for your reply. I have a Residence Card as the Extended Family Member of my cousin. On my Residence Card, it was written that I am allowed to work or engage in business activities. I was dependent on my Sponsor before coming to join her in the UK and I can still be classed as a Mem...

What Can I Do? I Need Your Help.

I hold a EEA 2 Residence Card as the family member of a French Citizen. I am going to get married this year to my woman and she is back in my country of origin in Africa. The EEA National is my Cousin. I have learnt that under the EEA Rules, I can't sponsor someone to the UK. What this means is that...

@Sheraz7, Thanks for your advice. I love my woman and I want to be with her. The best thing is to let her come to the UK for her Masters so that she will have the exposure of living in the western world. Then we can both move to another country where we can live as husband and wife. I am due to get ...

asamant18, Ok. Thanks for your advice. It seems I will not be able to bring my woman here as a dependant of a EEA National. I love this lady and we are really meant for each other. I also hold a UK Residence Card and I don't want to lose it. There are some advantages to my being here in the UK and I...

@Members of The Forum, Why would the UKBA/Home Office issue a RC which states that 'Employment and Business Activities Allowed' if the UK Government believes that Non EEA Family Members should remain dependent on their EEA National Sponsors? I think it would be a double faced rule which the UK only ...

@Sheraz7, I have not been married before. The EEA National is my Cousin and we grew up together and also lived in the same household. Our Mothers have the same parents. So you can understand the relationship between us. @smalldog, you have your own points. I respect your opinion. However, I think yo...

You don't need to include a photocopy of your Passport in the fresh Application. Just include your Home Office Reference Number. The UKBA already has your Passport. They will place your Residence Card in your Passport if it is not expired or on a A4 Paper if your Passport has expired. I wish you the...

emmyfem20, Make the Cover Letter simple and refer to the documents you've now included which the UKBA were asking for- 1. Marriage Certificate 2. Proof of your Partner's Employment. Include all the other documents that were in the initial application too. If you're a religious person, pray for the s...

@Kool1983, I just read through your post. I believe the UKBA does not have any right to hold on to the Passport of your friend since he has been issued his EEA2 Residence Card on a A4 Paper. Did your friend's Passport expire when the UKBA were processing his Residence Card? The Home office often hol...

Hi emmyfem20, your Passport could have been held back by the Home Office for 3 main reasons. 1. Your Passport might have expired after you sent your EEA2 Application to the UKBA. 2. Your Passport might not be valid. 3. You might be an Overstayer. The Home Office always retain the Passports of Overst...

@immigrant_life Just as Fsyicus said, you will need to prove that you have been resident in the UK to make your PR Application scale through the Home Office hurdles. jjoell23, your friend can apply for a Residence Card ( EEA2 ) after he marries his EEA Girlfriend. The UKBA might ask for proof of cohabitation and other documents that will prove that it not a Sham Marriage. That is the area where you have to be careful. Since your friend's Student Visa expires in ...

Towards Permanent Residence (PR) and Other RC Issues.

I just want the House to examine my case and offer some advice to me. I got my Residence Card in February 2011 and it will expire in 2016. I got it as a Family Member of an EEA National who is exercising Treaty Rights in the UK. I have been working since August 2011. I have started thinking about my...

Josh 2012, when is your appeal taking place? I wonder why the Solicitors you've approached are charging so much money ( £2000) for an appeal. You need to go to the Oral Appeal with Barrister. Many Solicitors often hire Barristers to represent their clients during appeal processes. Some Solicitors ar...

Josh 2012, It is better you go for the Oral Appeal. Oral Appeals have a higher success rate because the Judge gets to hear you out. He is also able to ask you questions that he might not have been able to ask if you do a paper appeal. The questions a Tribunal Judge asks might bolster your appeal pos...

@ Stenson, I don't get it. You don't need to bother yourself about Permanent Residence in the UK. You're German and your country is strong economically. I don't know your reasons for coming to study and live in the UK, but I don't think you should start collecting benefits. Just study ( You'll pay H...

Davex1890, I really feel for you with the decision of the Judge which has led to the dismissal of your appeal. Silva, you will have problems with the UKBA at the Airport if you spend more than 6 months out of the UK. If you're studying in another country, you wont have problems when coming back. However, you will have to provide evidence ( Letter of Admission to the College or University abroad, School ID et...
