Visa extension and new service system

Hello everyone, As all the internet is covered with news of the introduction of the new application system, offices, etc and Tier 1 Entrepreneur category is among others allowed to use it I am wondering if the new application system allows you to apply and be reviewed quicker, like the 'super premiu...

Re: Mistake in a BRP and lengh of stay

The date of the approval letter is 05-05-2016, so Valid Until date is exactly 3 years later. Does this mean I can disregard the 'Date of Issue' on the card? and just apply within a month before the current leave expires, so effectively starting from 05-04-2019 and consider that as a full 3 year peri...

Mistake in a BRP and lengh of stay

I have received a BRP on T1 Ent route 2 years ago.. the length of stay on this route should be exactly 3 years. It seems that there is a mistake in my BRP, as the DATE of Issue is 25-05-2016 and Valid Until is 05-05-2019 so 20 days less.. looks like a mistake? or could it be because I had to resubmi...

Re: Documents to confirm employee status

Yes you did indeed, and thanks a lot. Please confirm just the last thing One can hire people with ILR, right? as per last passage - the pages where a UK Government stamp or an endorsement appear, or a biometrics residence permit, or official documentation from the Home Office which confirms their se...

Re: Documents to confirm employee status

Agree, the guideline (and immigration rules themselves) should have done a better job of communicating that. I can't comment on your friend's experience but if that was really true, it was possibly a 100% CW mistake Maybe I got it wrong from my friend. Need to double check. Thanks for your comments...

Re: Documents to confirm employee status

The list is ONE of those, not ALL documents. Yes definitely not all of the documents, however the guidance doesn't say 'one of the following', it says "The applicant must provide copies of the following documents which demonstrate their employee has settled status in the UK:" I have also heard from...

Documents to confirm employee status

Hello everyone, I would like to check which documents in which case should be obtained by me (as a director of the business and submitted as an evidence of the employee status in the UK). The latest guidance says as follows: Documentation to confirm status The applicant must provide copies of the fo...

Re: Job creation requirment

Ok, thanks. Let's please clarify one more bit. So I plan to employ two people (by creating two jobs) in my business during my current initial period. I would most likely do it 14 months before my deadline. So by the time I apply I would have the extension requirement fulfilled. Then, while I would b...

Re: Job creation requirment

Because for applicants covered by transitional arrangements, they need to have only the equivalent of 12 months of employment for two people (technically total of 24 months of full time employment) Excuse me, what do you mean by 'covered by transitional arrangements'? By the way in the paragraph th...

Re: Job creation requirment

Yes, job creation requirement applies to the LAST PERIOD of your visa. So if you apply for extension the last period of your visa is the 'initial period' and when you apply for ILR the last period is the 'extension period'. This means that you need to satisfy the job creation requirement at extensi...

Job creation requirment

Hey guys, I have been checking the requirements for the job creation and the requirements for ILR application after TIER 1 Ent, extension. In the current version of guidance, April 2016 edition, I have found that: Specific Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Criteria - settlement 3) You have either: established a...

How much time do you have to re apply

Hello, please advise on the timing in this case.. I have applied for the T1 Ent in November a week before my visa had expired. So it was valid at the time of the application. I have received a refusal last week and need to send a new application rather than applying for an administrative review. So ...

Please also advise on working restrictions. I remember that if you are on a Tier 1 GE visa, you can work full time establishing your own business and ONLY 20 hours p/w elsewhere. However I have just checked UKBA website and found nothing regarding these restrictions at the 'conditions of your stay' ...

Hello, is that true that you can't apply for the Graduate Entrepreneur Tier 1 visa in person, using same day service, but only by sending your application by post? (in the UK of course). thanks.
