Many thanks for such a prompt reply. I am a doctor myself so I know she is not eligible. Problem is that I dont know which insurance company to go with and which Private Gp to choose. Can any one who has had a similar situation share their experience please so to guide me how to book one. Thanx

Health cover for elderly mother

Hi,
My mother is coming for 6 mths and I am confused which Medical insurance I should take for her? Also I am told that she needs to register with a private GP as well. Any guidance please.

My friend still has the email where he was advised that as previous work permit is still valid company does not want you to get your passport stamped until previous one expires. It is rude to say that he is lucky.

Yes, case was discussed with home office at the time. My friend left the country as soon as he was made aware of this by the company. sorry for delay in reply. i went to cardiff for my appt at 10:30 am. There were very few people so i was able to go in at 10 am. As described by others it was airport style security check and keep mobile with security at entrance. I went to counter where they checked my form and asked me to pay fees...

yes i have been to cardiff.
staff are nice but slow. also they dont have stamp facility which means if you are granted ilr they will send passport to sheffield for stamping which will then be delivered to you via royal mail. so a little hassle.
but overall they are nice
