yes the link works. thanks. actually i could only see the "Get Status" button on a big screen. on my laptop, i could not see and could not click the "Get Status " button.

I am also not able to check the status of OCI.
this link is not working from 2-3 days. http://passport.gov.in/oci/statusEnqury

where to check the status?? and i called the customer care, they are telling to check on the website as they also dont know the status??

it is really frustrating , it is nearly 4 months and till now no news. my wife has applied for naturalization on may 15 and we r still waiting . are there any may applicants still waiting ?

@rajasekhar - have you got royal mail tracking number - did you check if that is delivered? I applied on 30/09. No money taken either.

i applied on 7th Oct from NCS, NCS would have sent it the next day but till now no letter of acknowledgement and no fees taken. it more than a week.

thanks for ur reply , so i was right. thanks. it is SET(M).

so i understand here , every dependent who has lived in UK on dependent visa when shifting to ILR , should apply on SET(M).

i dont know why i have seen confused posts that some are suggesting SET(O) for dependents .

obviously you can apply ILR for your wife in sept 2012 when she finishes 2 yrs of stay in UK as your dependent. see the SET-M form guidance notes.
