Re: Arriving via Dublin

Irish passport control will check if you have a visa for Ireland, they don't bother with UK Tier 1 etc, they may take a cursory look at BRP, but that too is unlikely. There is no border control between Ireland and UK when travelling by road, so you don't need to do anything after reaching Northern I...

Re: Urgent Query on 2nd Tier 1 Extension....!!!

Its easy to apply for visa as LTD company too. You can earn around 5% more as LTD company, but there is no hard number for comparison purposes due to the many variables involved.

Re: Urgent Query on 2nd Tier 1 Extension....!!!

1. it is not mandatory. but if you do so you make a favourable impression which can help in getting same day decision.
2. my 2nd extension with Ltd company income only was approved same day. salaried income with a small amount as Ltd company to make the points is scrutinized the most.

1. Letter from employer not compulsory.
2. Will be fine since your LTD company earnings are not being claimed as previous earnings.

Rest looks good and sufficient.

Yes.
Many banks don't stamp statement printouts. Find out from your bank if you can get a statement in official stationary by visiting a branch. Then you won't need it stamped.

Fee change - PEO appointment made before raise

Dear All

I paid £1920 in March when booking Tier1 PEO appointment for late April. Will the new increased fees be applicable to me and the difference taken in PEO ?

Thanks

I'm guessing its the new Genuine Earnings Test that comes into play, so case workers ask for invoices to check for genuineness more than anything else.

Thanks. Going through some other posts on this topic, seems like a good idea to leave out invoice summary and just carry invoices to PEO and present them if asked.

Your 3 year extension is correct as per rules. Don't do anything. Search this forum for others who contacted Home office to be told 3 years if fine.

If you have been paying yourself salary/dividend from your limited company during the period you did not have a contract then you are not unemployed, you are economically active.

Thats my understanding, lets see what others have to say.

Under current rules you should be able to get an extension and it will be for 3 years. You can also combine your Indian and UK earnings to claim points for previous earnings if needed. There will be no uplift ratio applied to your Indian earnings, just simple conversion from INR to GBP.
