Re: Has anyone applied for PR in Year 2012 - EEA4

Hi all, Has anyone applied for permanent Residence (EEA4) in 2012? Have you got your PR and how long did it take? Maybe this is wishful thinking from me that UKBA is back to its old ways of holding on applications.................... I've sent my 4th application on 27/Jan, and still haven't receive...

Hi all,

Just a question: the company I work for has just told us we'll all be made redundant, so I need to look for a new job. Should I phone UKBA and ask them for my passport back?

My application was sent back to them on 27/Jan/12 (for the 4th time), it was received on 30/Jan/12. No COA yet.

You have sent the two applications together? Are they progressing with your application but not with your husband? No idea what is going on but it could be that you sent a lot of documents to cover your residence (is the rental agreement and bills only on your name) but very little evidence for you...

That's a surprising response from the UKBA. I would expect that P60 and council tax bills (if they have her name and address on it) would be enough. It is also not clear why your evidence is enough but your husband isn't. Did you provide additional residence evidence for your self? From your previo...

EEA3/4 returned (again)

Hi all, I've received my EEA3/4 application back for the 3rd time from UKBA, as they're stating that I (EEA citizen) "did not provide sufficient evidence to show that your family member has been residing in the UK for a minimum of 5 years". Now, I've sent my spouse's last 6 P60's (2006-2011), and Co...

How long have you and your husband been living in the UK? From the sounds of it, you and your husband have acquired a PR status which mean you don't need to worry about your husband's "visa" expiring. If you can provide evidence of exercising treaty rights for 5 years (the few weeks being job seeke...

Re: Solicitor is correct

The important thing UKBA look at is the EEA national's status. The non-EEA's work is mostly irrelevant. "Shouldn't I be covered by my husband's NI contributions?" You are resident in the UK, so are entitled to the NHS according to UK law. Your right to the NHS is not based on your husband's NI, but...

EEA application help

Hi all, I’ve been reading through the posts for the past couple of weeks so I could find out more information about my case and decided to write a specific post. I’m a Portuguese national, and my husband is not an EEA national. I’m on a 2nd Residence Permit which doesn’t have an expiry date ...
