CRB is not immigration check.I am afraid you are not allowed to work if your visa has expired.

You have no pending issues.If you are detained you will be removed within 72 hours.Have you got legal representation?If they decide to detain you it will be very difficult to find representation.

A barrister who fully knows your circumstances might be able to argue about your human right.My suggestion is get legal help with your appeal.

If you have an expired passport you could use it.Driving licences including provisional are also accepted.

Phone them up and explain.Try in the future not to miss any reporting events under any circumstances unless you are seriusly ill and unable to get out of bed.
