It has been taking months for appeals to be listed. It can even take up to 8 months for the appeal to be listed.

The cops could detain your partner for the border force.No removals can take place before your partner has been given 72 hours notice.

CRB is not immigration check.I am afraid you are not allowed to work if your visa has expired.

You have no pending issues.If you are detained you will be removed within 72 hours.Have you got legal representation?If they decide to detain you it will be very difficult to find representation.

If you have an expired passport you could use it.Driving licences including provisional are also accepted.

Remember to tell the truth even if it is inconvenient.The presenting officer might wind you up with lots of questions please dont get wound up even if what they say isnt the truth. Have you been waiting for more than 3 months after your appeal was succesful?If so i am afraid you have to bite the bullet and contact your mp or else you could write letters or phone them and wait for even longer before they decide to grant you yor status.

If you are not sure he sent the letter ask him .I have previously changed my address with the border agency and they still got it wrong until after a few reminders.
