Thanks Zen. I am a bit clear. They contacted 4 clients out of 5 and they forced them to tell each and every bit of the invoice from 2 clients. UKBA asked 2 clients about me that you know this person and had any services so they confirmed. But from 2 clients they did detailed investigation asking qu...

Thanks zen but I am fine. I have 5 invoices and 5 clients. As per requirement submitted bank statement and accountant's letter confirming income. They did not mention about any specific client as I quoted everything from their decision. Thanks again. :) I see. It seems like UKBA were either not abl...

Sorry to hear that. I understand this must be a difficult time for you. When did you make the application? How many invoices did you submit with your application and how many clients did you have? Does the refusal letter specify the exact invoices/client(s) which couldn't be verified? What other doc...

You would be eligible for ILR 28 days before 7 Aug 2014, which by my calculation is 10 July 2014. If you apply for ILR more than 28 days before completing the qualifying period, your application will be refused as specified in the SET(O) Guidance. You would need to apply for a further Tier 1 extensi...

Under section 19, you maybe allowed to use fresh evidence in an appeal only if the UKBA have alleged that a document that you had submitted with your application was either false or invalid. Based on that, I would say that the new evidence that you have submitted now will be inadmissible especially ...

I would advise you to appeal this refusal in the same way as you did for your initial Tier 1 application but also add an additional ground (that you also qualify for ILR under the 10 year Long Residence rules) to be considered at appeal as a further backup. If you send an ILR application under the L...

You can submit an out of time application within 28 days of expiry of your current leave, thereby covering the 7 days shortfall in question.

I hope you receive your acknowledgement and biometric letters soon, hussainkothari. zen135, you mentioned that if the biometrics letter are issued, then one can safely assume that one's payment has cleared and application is 'valid'. For my peace of mind, could you please let me know whether this i...

I called the UKBA on 08706067766 and selected option 4. A lady picked up after a couple of minutes and I told her that I've not received the biometrics letter and asked her to check their system to see if it had been issued yet. She asked for my application reference number and as I didn't have it w...

Yes, the address is correct and the same one which I used and the amount is correct too. The acknowledgement letter is issued only after the payment is cleared. In the case of payment by banker draft/cheque, UKBA gives a timeline of 5 working days to clear and then the letters are sent by 2nd class ...

I've done it 3 days in a row now. The survey cookie 'refreshes' everyday it seems and allows you to do it on the same PC again. Also, you can use different browsers on the same PC to submit multiple times on the same day. Using Google Chrome 'Incognito' mode also allows you to submit multiple entries!
