If you dont mind me asking, just out of curiousity, how long was this break in your friend's visa?

Break was about 1 week I think (not v sure though, but its in that range only and not in months or years).

Try at different times (apart at midnight)

I tried and had managed to get different appointments within next one week. The trick is to keep all your docs and stmts ready and keep searching for all locations at different times (eg: 11AM, 3PM, 5PM and so on) and when you try 3 - 4 days , you will get appointment which is within next 3-4 workin...

ILR approved on new form (12/2012 version)
