Agreed with Punjab , but as I recall , back in the days the UKBA always insisted on applications made 4-6 months prior to the expiration of the visa , That's what we did when we applied for the 5 yr visa and for the permanent residence. We received our PR's before the 5 yr was completed , lets say 2...

Didn't you receive a letter informing you in relation to the progress time ?

I thought it was standard for the embassy / home office to send a letter advising of the duration it takes to process applications.

Just wait and see.

Reda, the sooner you send it the better, we sent ours in July which is 4 months in advance , in case they refuse your application, you have time to appeal. Also provide as many documents as possible , we had over 85 documents including : holiday bookings, wage slips, tenancy agreement, p60's , colle...

Re: Best time to send the EEA4 & EEA3 Applications for P

Hello guys, is it ok to send these applications prior to the expiry of the Residence Permits. My partner who is a Non EEA Memeber has his visa expiring in Nov 2011. We weren't too certain as to when should we send these applications. We sent them early taking into account that the processing time f...

The more paperwork you provide the better, that includes receipts that prove you guys travelled together, payslips, bank statements, utility bills, tenancy agreements etc......

Its all about proving durability. So the more the merrier , it worked for us , we got our PR in 2 months. :D

My wife also included her CRB Check which I am assuming granted her the PR status on the spot. There is no need to provide CRB check when applying. The fast processing for the EEA national is standard practice by the HO. EEA national is issued a Residence Permit (EEA1) / PR (EEA3) when the CoA is i...

From what I've been told that if the EEA National gets the PR status, it increases the chances of the Non EEA member to receive the PR status unless the documents do not add up.

Your husband can call the bank and get a print out for the last 3 months. That's how I got mine, I use online banking and said no to paper statements like 3 years ago. Its pretty straight forward

the best you can do is wait , you keep repeating yourself and are getting the same answers, your solicitor should perhaps contact them as you went through him / her .

Your solicitor should be able to help you in this matter because you are paying him
