Do we need to send the naturalisation certificate and passport (both original) if applying through postal or original naturalisation certificate and certified copy of passport is enough.

I arranged my ceremony for this afternoon (Private).Dont worry you will be approved if you satisfy good character and residence requirements.

In my last letter to UKBA i explicitly said that my last step to be British Citizenship is turning to be embarassing considering the timelines.

Yes i am referring to the same six month timeline.I have been in the country for more than ten years.Checks within the country shouldn't take that long.It's either few screens away on the computer or a few phone calls to other departments.

To sum up one would get approved if he satisfies 1. Residence qualifying period 2. Good Character 3. Hasnt evaded taxes(could be "due" to HMRC if self employed or PAYE) but there should be no history where the person has made a purpose to evade tax rather then being due i.e not paying on time ). Like for say karwan(who posts in here) did post on another portal i am talking of ,he complained to UKBA through solicitor and MP three or four times and no result after 8 months. The other person got approved in 5 months after a complaint from a solicitor. It varies case by case that's my final tho...
